Direct Dictation Configuration

For direct dictation into a desktop or notebook PC, the following would be provided:

Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional Version with Headset or
IBM ViaVoice Executive Version with Headset
WFS Medical Speciality Vocabulary Installed on your PC
Philips SpeechMike - Integrated Mic, Mouse, Speaker and programmable hotkeys
On-site Training - Three days

Another way is to use a hand-held tape recorder with delegation of the automatic transcribing, proof reading and correcting left to an aide.  In this scenario, one transcription workstation PC would be required.

Tape Recorder Dictation Configuration

For tape recorder dictation, the following would be provided:

Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional Version or
IBM ViaVoice Executive Version with Headset
WFS Medical Speciality Vocabulary Installed on your PC
Norcom Tape Recorder for Physician,  Additional Recorder, Coupler & Power Adapter  for Aide
Tape Cassettes (6) and Bulk Eraser
On-site Training of Physician and Transcription Aide - Three to four days
